Custom classrooms to support École Jean-XXIII’s growth

Due to its growing student population, Jean-XXIII School in Ormstown needed to quickly expand its classroom space. To address this demand, Shellex developed the preliminary studies, plans, and specifications for the addition of six prefabricated modular classrooms, thereby increasing the school’s capacity. This flexible and temporary solution was designed for several years of use and included both the installation and dismantling of the units. Our team handled all related work, ensured compliance with applicable codes and regulations, and provided construction supervision throughout the project.

Each classroom was designed to provide a learning environment equivalent to that of a traditional school: interactive whiteboards, adapted furniture, quality finishes, and a secure corridor linking the units to the main school building.

Thanks to its multidisciplinary approach and the collaboration of its civil engineering, building mechanical, and electrical system teams, Shellex delivered a custom, fast, and perfectly integrated solution to meet the institution’s needs.
