A Company That Values Its Employees’ Projects
At Shellex, we listen to our employees and what matters to them, involving them in selecting charitable causes to support.
Our initiatives include “Movember,” holiday toy donations to Le Partage, support for Accueil pour Elle, and participation in the “Ride de filles” event for breast cancer awareness.
We also provide financial support to various sports leagues and employee-led projects. In 2025, Shellex partnered with the hydroplane team “LaloRacing 751,” with our logo prominently featured and celebrated during the Regatta races.

2024 - 2026
Shellex is a proud Gold Partner of the “Invest in Local Geniuses!” campaign, supporting new facilities for civil engineering technology and upgraded spaces for mechanical and electrical engineering programs.
Shellex is proud to donate a total of $25,000 to the Fondation du Cégep de Valleyfield.
Beyond financial contributions, Philippe Bourassa, Executive Partner and Director at Shellex, volunteers as a member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors.
Movember
2020 to present
Launched by employees, Shellex’s annual Movember campaign raises funds for men’s mental health, suicide prevention, and prostate and testicular cancer, with staff proudly growing moustaches and donating to support the cause.
Shellex also matches every donation, and together with our employees, we have raised over $14,500 for the cause since 2020.
Canadian Cancer Society
2025
After realizing that numerous items in good condition were sitting in its warehouse, Shellex held a major internal sale for employees.
Instead of keeping the proceeds from the sale, Shellex’s directors encouraged employees to give generously. Each participant was invited to donate an amount equivalent to the value of their chosen item to the Canadian Cancer Society.
The concept was simple: one item for one donation!
This first event raised more than $2,600 for the Canadian Cancer Society, with plans to make it an ongoing initiative.
