Shellex is proud to support a long-standing client in achieving their carbon neutrality objectives by 2030.
As part of the various greenhouse gas reduction strategies implemented, a new 50 MW electrode boiler was installed at their Québec plant. Thanks to its expertise in thermal power plants and industrial electricity, Shellex successfully led the installation and commissioning of this boiler, along with the associated 120 kV – 13.8 kV substation, in collaboration with its partners.
This project represents one of the largest electric boiler capacities ever installed in Québec and stands as a strong example of Shellex’s expertise in decarbonizing the industrial sector.
