Shellex is proud to support a long-standing client in achieving their carbon neutrality objectives by 2030.
As part of the various greenhouse gas reduction strategies implemented, a new 50 MW electrode boiler was installed at their Québec plant. Leveraging its expertise in thermal power generation and industrial electrical systems, Shellex successfully led the installation and commissioning of this boiler and the associated 120 kV–13.8 kV substation in collaboration with its partners.
This project represents one of the largest electric boiler capacities ever installed in Québec and highlights Shellex’s leadership in industrial decarbonization.
