Shellex was engaged by Bimbo (POM Bakery) to manage the expansion of an existing 3,600 sq. ft. area. and the process layout for the cooling of their products. Shellex was chosen for its turnkey EPC (Engineering-Procurement-Construction) construction management service. The firm managed the four major stages of the project:
- Preliminary phase
- In-depth design phase
- Procurement phase
- Construction management phase
Shellex’s multidisciplinary capabilities enabled all project-related plans to be developed in-house, including structural, electrical, building mechanical, and civil engineering systems. Shellex’s construction management capabilities enabled these plans to be realized through the expansion of the existing plant. Shellex carried out the procurement, including the acquisition of all materials, equipment, and services required for the project, as well as the full supervision and management of the work.
