Shellex was mandated by Bimbo (POM Bakery) to handle the expansion of an existing 3,600 sq. ft. area and the process layout for the cooling of their products. Shellex was chosen for its turnkey EPC (Engineering-Procurement-Construction) construction management service. The firm managed the four (4) major stages of the project:
- Preliminary phase
- In-depth design phase
- Procurement phase
- Construction management phase
Thanks to Shellex’s multidisciplinary expertise, all project-related plans were developed in-house: structural, electrical and building mechanical systems, as well as civil engineering. It was our expertise in construction management that enabled these plans to materialize into the expansion of the existing plant. Shellex carried out the procurement, including the acquisition of all materials, equipment, and services required for the project, as well as the full supervision and management of the work.
