A structural work strategy developed by Shellex
This structural rehabilitation project, delivered for a long-standing client, highlights Shellex’s capabilities in heavy industrial settings and was initiated following in-plant inspections.
Considering operational constraints and health and safety regulations, the design team developed a multi-phase work strategy and produced reports, drawings, and specifications. Structural reinforcements and replacements of critical elements were completed while the plant remained operational and supporting equipment stayed in service. All work was performed using corrosion-resistant materials and repair methods suited to the chemicals present in the area.
Shellex delivered this project on a turnkey basis, including tender management, contractual oversight of subcontractors, and technical supervision of the project.
