Custom classrooms to support École Jean-XXIII’s growth
To meet growing enrolment, École Jean-XXIII in Ormstown required a rapid expansion of classroom space. Shellex developed the preliminary studies, plans, and specifications for six prefabricated modular classrooms, increasing the school’s capacity. Designed for multi-year use, the solution included installation and eventual dismantling of the units. Shellex also managed all related work, ensured compliance with applicable codes and regulations, and provided construction supervision throughout the project.
Each classroom was designed to provide a learning environment comparable to a traditional school, featuring interactive whiteboards, adapted furniture, quality finishes, and a secure corridor connecting the units to the main building.
A multidisciplinary approach and the collaboration of its civil engineering, building mechanical, and electrical system teams, Shellex delivered a custom, fast, and perfectly integrated solution to meet the institution’s needs.
