Shoreline Stabilization in Baie Saint-François

Construction Supervision

Shellex supervised stabilization work along the banks of Baie Saint-François in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. Shoreline erosion and instability spanning several kilometres, as well as the deterioration of adjacent municipal infrastructure, had become an obstacle to development. The project is designed to support access for larger vessels, ensure safe use of the area, and improve shoreline boat access.

This work plays a key role in protecting the site’s environmental value. Further improvements are planned in adjacent riverside parks to make them more attractive and better suited for community events.

Our Role

Shellex serves as the City of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield’s representative to all construction stakeholders, ensuring that work meets industry standards and that costs and schedules remain aligned with contractual agreements.
