SLES Indoor bulk storage – PPG Architectural Coatings

Design of four new large letdown tanks and automated pigged transfer piping system to improve production and minimize yield loss. Designed new steel filler platforms and raised penthouse to accommodate larger letdown tanks.

CHALLENGES

Building space constraints and low ceiling heights required creative equipment and platform layout and installation of a roof penthouse.
Pigged piping system with 12D radius elbows transferring to multiple fillers.
