Redevelopment Work

Shellex supervised and coordinated the work on De Lotbinière Road between Harwood Boulevard and Saint-Jean-Baptiste Avenue. This project aimed to revitalize the area with a sustainable, mixed-use urban environment designed to enhance quality of life while respecting the surrounding environment. The revitalization of the Highway 20 bypass resulted in a complete transformation of the boulevard.

To bring this vision to life, a new boulevard design was developed. The project features improved roadway geometry and on-street parking, complemented by protected sidewalks, dedicated bike paths, and landscaped elements including vegetated swales, trees, and plants. Upgrades also include modernized lighting, replacement of the water main and sanitary sewer forcemain, and the construction of a new gravity sanitary sewer line.
